Narcolepsy

I should tell you it's not the real deal. I just found out about someone who really has Narcolepsy (the second person I've ever personally known in my life!) But this kid has a bad case of the fake narcolepsy. He falls asleep. A LOT. When he is meeting someone new, when he is being silly, when we are playing, when I tell him to go to sleep. But the best, and I mean truly the best, was when he was getting in trouble. He had done something naughty and was standing up on a bed and I was giving him the "talk" and he just fell asleep. Right in the middle of it. While standing. He put his hands on the side of his face, hung his head a little and closed his eyes. I couldn't believe it. I had to try so hard to not laugh. He has since done this a few times while getting the "talk" and I say: "Porter you are not asleep, listen to mommy." Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. But without fail it makes me smile. So sleep on little man...
