The Grand Palace

This is us at the Grand Palace. It was AMAZING!!!! We loved all the details and different types of Gods and Temples. The Guard is at the entrance of the Temples, a little scary but full of details. Every spot of the Grand Palace was full of the most incredible detail. And to think they made it so long ago.

A glimsp of Thailand

We arrived In Bangkok around 10 pm. We found our really nice hostel about an hour later. We spent Sunday at the JJ market where we could have done some serious damage. It was a huge market that had just about everything. We got some cute clothes and really sweet backpacks. The other pictures are of some Thai meat (looks yummy right) and some street performers! The rest of Thailand will have to wait!! I will post more pictures throughout the week so keep checking in!

A few of our favorite things

Sorry, we have been very late on updating our blog. Thanks for a call from Kristie and Katie's Internet I am finally updating. The first picture is our favorite fruit stand just down the street from our house. They had the BEST fruit and some only known to Taiwan so we will miss them. The next is our favorite juices. The apple and grape juice is amazing in Taiwan and is so sweet! The little bottle is Buddha milk. It's a yogurt juice and is soooooo yummy! The dinner plate is very special. My friend and one of our favorite restaurant owner made this for us on our last night. It was really good/different = ). The next is something you see everywhere. Cow stomach. This is all over the streets and in all restaurants. Then our favorite breakfast place. Lianga dan bing please! It is so good and I can't wait to have it again. The last picture is one of my favorite things. Rice fields! It is really neat to watch the rice grow and harvest. This is a hand harvested one and is not done too often any more. These are just a few of our favorite things!

Olympics

This is us in Taipei where they were promoting for the 8-08-08 China Olympics. We had a fun time walking around and playing.
